Hi, I’m so happy you are here. I want to take just a moment of your time to give you a little bit of information about myself.
I recently retired from a busy, busy job. I ran three departments in my work life for a local school district. It was super hectic, but I loved every moment! My job involved helping children succeed in education via clean and safe schools & classrooms, and safe transportation. Even though I did not always have time, I would often have my camera with me for any chance I could get to have an excuse to take photos.
In fact, I have had a camera since I was a teenager. I first fell in love with photography when my dad (also a photographer) gave me a Canon AE-1 and I learned everything I could about how to use it. Over the years, work came first and photography was secondary so I had to put the camera down for the most part.
After retiring, I returned to my real passion of photography. I was always known as having the “good camera” so friends and family would often call on me to take the photos for whatever was going on. One of my favorite “favors” was a biker wedding in Ohio. Yes, I am a motorcyclist and enjoy the outdoors, traveling and being with my family.
I now use a Canon 5d MIV to create amazing art for my clients. What started off as a hobby and a few favors for friends has turned into a full time business! I absolutely love creating art, whether it is for myself or clients. I ensure every portrait is special and meaningful. With that in mind, I also want to have fun – and – ensure photography is affordable for everyone. Not less quality, just affordable.
I come from a big family and picture day was a big event at my house. I remember what my mom went through to make sure everyone looked their best. Today I am grateful for her efforts. Having a printed momento of our childhood is priceless. Something I can pass down for generations to come.
